Shakti’s tweet captured the chaos and camaraderie that took place off-camera, despite the show’s reputation for extreme melodrama on screen. Hemant Virani, actor Shakti, posted a series of pictures of himself from the set of the program on Instagram.

On July 29, 2025, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 made its debut. It is a Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi reboot and sequel.
The principal roles of Tulsi and Mihir Virani were reprised by Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay. Second-generation characters are portrayed by Rohit Suchanti, Tanisha Mehta, Shagun Sharma, and Aman Gandhi.
The show’s first episode aired in 2008. It centered on Mihir, the grandson of business magnate Govardhan Virani, and his ideal daughter-in-law, a pandit’s daughter. Smriti Irani portrayed the part of Tulsi Virani.
Speaking about Shakti, the actor was employed in Delhi as a medical examiner when he was offered a role in the television series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. In the telefilm Nayan Jyoti, he portrayed a blind youngster.
In the first season of the celebrity dance program Nach Baliye, Shakti and his spouse, Sai Deodhar, took part. He played the role of Shivam in the television series Godh Bharaai. In addition to his roles as Shiv in Gangaa and Emperor Balakumara in the well-known Tenali Rama, the actor appeared in the daily soap opera Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap and SuperCops versus Supervillains.
His most recent role was that of Amber Singh in the television series Channa Mereya. He has been reprising his role as Advocate Hemant Virani in the spiritual follow-up to Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi from July 2025.
