Sarabhai – Rupali Ganguly Remembers Satish Shah Through Beloved Show Moments
Sarabhai – Classic television memories continue to resonate with audiences as Rupali Ganguly shared an emotional tribute to late actor Satish Shah, recalling their much-loved scenes from Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.

Rupali Ganguly recently reposted a fan-created video compilation featuring some of her most memorable moments with Satish Shah from the popular sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. The montage brought back scenes of Ganguly’s Monisha Sarabhai alongside Shah’s Indravadan Sarabhai, a pairing that became one of the show’s strongest comic highlights.
The actor shared the video on social media with a brief but heartfelt note: “Miss him so so so much…….” Her message reflected the lasting bond she shared with Shah, both on screen and beyond the set.
A Memorable Father-in-Law and Daughter-in-Law Bond
In Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Satish Shah played Indravadan Sarabhai, the humorous and sharp-tongued head of the Sarabhai family. His character was known for his playful nature, quick remarks and frequent disagreements with his elegant and status-conscious wife, Maya Sarabhai, played by Ratna Pathak Shah.
Indravadan’s relationship with Monisha, portrayed by Rupali Ganguly, was especially popular among viewers. Although Monisha’s middle-class habits often annoyed Maya, Indravadan regularly supported her and joined her in light-hearted moments against Maya’s refined expectations. Their exchanges became a defining feature of the sitcom and remain widely shared by fans even years after the series first aired.
