Arun Vijay : “Retta Thala” is approved for release by the Censor Board with a U/A certificate
Arun Vijay: The highly anticipated action entertainment “Retta Thala,” directed by Krish Thirukumaran and starring Arun Vijay, has officially received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to be released.
The production company behind the movie, BTG Universal, verified the news on its timeline. “Certified,” it said. Charged. All set. Censored as U/A, @arunvijayno1’s #RettaThala will be released worldwide on December 25.
Prior to the movie’s premiere, actors Arun Vijay and Siddhi Idnani, who star in the movie, prayed at the Arulmigu Vennankodi Muniappan Temple in Salem.
Actor Arun Vijay shared photos from their trip to the temple on his X page, writing, “Took the blessings from Arulmigu Vennankodi Muniappan Temple #Salem… #RettaThala in two days!!!” #RettaThala starting on December 25.
Arun Vijay plays two parts in the movie. The opening voiceover of a newly released movie states, “People say a collection of happy memories is a good life.” Only when I was with Andre did I feel content, regardless of my life or my memories.
We discover that the voiceover belongs to one of the characters that Arun Vijay portrays in the movie.
We also find out that Siddhi Idnani’s character name in the movie is Andre. “We live only once, we should live to the fullest,” Andre is heard saying.
In the movie, it becomes clear that one of Arun Vijay’s two personas is romantically involved with Andre.
But the story takes a turn in the trailer.The line “I will gift this blank check to whoever kills the killer of my husband” is portrayed by Tanya Ravichandran’s character.
The teaser further heightens the suspense when Hareesh Peradi’s character declares, “From this day on, his days are numbered.” This makes it clear that there will be some retribution in the movie.
After that, we witness the character played by Arun Vijay remark, “Death is laughing at me and saying, ‘I have surrounded you.'” I’m opposed to death. It will be a battle until the end.”
Action, romance, retribution, and drama will all be skillfully combined in this film, according to the trailer.
Actor Arun Vijay made the following statement in a prior exclusive interview with IANS: “Retta Thala is a gripping action thriller that will be about what happens when the shades of grey in all individuals start to show simultaneously.”
The names of the characters he portrayed in the movie were also revealed by the actor. Arun Vijay revealed to IANS that he portrayed two characters in the movie, one of them was named Malpe Upendra and the other Kali.
In addition to Arun Vijay, Siddhi Idnani, Tanya Ravichandran, Yogi Samy, John Vijay, Hareesh Peradi, and Balaji Murugadoss will play significant parts in this Kris Thirukumaran-directed movie.
The picture has a top-notch technical crew. Sam CS composed the film’s music, while Tijo Tomy handled the photography. Anthony edited the movie, while Arunshankar Durai directed the artwork. The action-packed movie has stunts that were coordinated by P.C.Stunts. Kiruthika Sekar created the costumes, while Bobby Antony and Suren R choreographed the music.
