Law enforcement officials said they received information about the abandoned ambulance early on Friday and immediately reached the location. The area was secured while forensic teams collected evidence from the scene. The bodies were later transported to the District Headquarters Hospital, where post-mortem examinations and other legal procedures were carried out.

Earlier this month, suspected militants allegedly attempted to damage the Teri Ram Bridge on Miryan Road by planting explosives. Although the bridge suffered only partial structural damage, the incident highlighted continuing threats to public infrastructure.

During a jirga held on June 18, participants urged the government to take immediate and effective action to restore law and order and dismantle armed militant networks operating in the region.
