Security Alert –  Authorities across Gujarat launched a coordinated security operation on Wednesday after several government and organizational offices received emails claiming that explosive devices had been planted at key locations.

A major security alert was issued in Gujarat after threatening emails were sent to the Chief Minister’s Office in Gandhinagar, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), and an office of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The messages prompted immediate action from law enforcement agencies, with bomb disposal experts and security personnel deployed to conduct extensive checks at the affected premises.

Threat Messages Trigger Immediate Response

According to officials, the email received by the Chief Minister’s Office mentioned a possible explosion at 1:11 p.m. Shortly afterward, similar messages were delivered to the AMC headquarters located in Ahmedabad’s Danapith area and to an RSS office. The emails referred to separate times for the alleged incidents, mentioning 3:11 p.m. and 5:11 p.m. respectively.

Authorities treated the warnings with utmost seriousness and activated emergency security protocols without delay. Multiple police teams were assigned to assess the situation and ensure public safety.

Security Measures Strengthened Across Key Locations

Following the alerts, security arrangements were reinforced at government establishments and other sensitive sites in both Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Bomb detection squads and trained canine units carried out detailed inspections of buildings and surrounding areas.

As a precaution, the AMC headquarters was temporarily evacuated while security personnel conducted a thorough search of the premises. Officials inspected offices, entry points, parking areas, and nearby surroundings to rule out any potential threat.

Mali also remarked that certain elements seek to create unrest despite the prevailing atmosphere of peace. However, officials emphasized that the investigation remains focused on gathering evidence and identifying those behind the threats.
