Governance – Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma visited Bambori village in Pratapgarh district on Thursday morning, where he interacted closely with residents during a door-to-door outreach programme aimed at understanding local concerns and reviewing welfare initiatives.

Chief Minister Meets Elderly Residents and Children

During the village walk, the Chief Minister spent time speaking with senior citizens and asked about their health conditions, pension facilities, and benefits available under state-supported pilgrimage schemes for elderly residents. Villagers welcomed him warmly as he moved through different parts of the village engaging directly with families.

Children gathered around the Chief Minister and shared details about their schoolwork and studies. He interacted with them in a friendly manner and distributed chocolates, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm among young students.

Focus on Women’s Participation in Rural Programmes

The Chief Minister also held conversations with women in the village and encouraged them to become more actively involved in Rajivika programmes designed to support rural livelihoods and self-employment opportunities. Officials accompanying the visit reviewed the implementation status of welfare projects and listened to concerns raised by local residents.

After the village tour, the Chief Minister joined villagers for tea and informal discussions. Women, elderly residents, and local community members highlighted issues related to public facilities and rural services during the interaction.

Bhajanlal Sharma Highlights Rural Development Vision

Sharing details about the visit on social media platform X, the Chief Minister said he appreciated the greenery, cleanliness, and natural surroundings of Bambori village. He also mentioned that interactions with children, women, and elderly residents strengthened his commitment toward public service and development work across Rajasthan.

Officials present during the visit were instructed to address public grievances and ensure quicker resolution of local issues.

Gram Development Campaigns Receive Attention

Addressing villagers during the programme, the Chief Minister said that the goal of building a developed India and a developed Rajasthan could only be achieved through strong rural growth and better infrastructure in villages. He stressed that direct communication with rural communities helps the administration understand their real challenges and expectations.

He described the Gram Vikas Chaupal and Gram Vikas Rath campaigns as important efforts to accelerate development work in villages and improve public participation in welfare programmes. According to him, these initiatives are intended to strengthen rural infrastructure and expand access to government services in remote areas.

Temple Visits Mark Important Part of Tour

During the Pratapgarh visit, the Chief Minister, accompanied by his wife, also offered prayers at the Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple, where they performed Jalabhishek rituals for the prosperity and well-being of people in the state.

He later visited the Laxminathji Temple and the Charbhujanathji Temple as part of the tour.

Several senior leaders and public representatives accompanied the Chief Minister during the visit, including Hemant Meena, Gautam Kumar Dak, C. P. Joshi, and Shrichand Kripalani.
