Gruesome Findings From Post-Mortem Examination

Medical examination of the child’s body revealed a horrifying pattern of abuse. According to the post-mortem report, Arnav had suffered at least 21 injuries on different parts of his body, indicating repeated violence over a long period. Doctors noted blunt force trauma believed to have been caused by sticks, as well as burn marks consistent with cigarette burns.

Investigators also reported that the fatal injury occurred when the child’s head was forcefully slammed against a wall. Several wounds appeared older, suggesting that the violence had been ongoing rather than a single incident. Neighbors later confirmed that the child had often been seen with bruises and swelling, reinforcing suspicions that he had been regularly subjected to severe punishment.

Residents described the child as quiet and withdrawn in recent months. Many now believe the signs of abuse were visible but hidden behind the closed doors of the family home.

Mob Anger Erupts As Police Detain Suspects

Tensions escalated dramatically when police arrived to take the accused into custody. Large crowds gathered outside the residence, expressing fury over the child’s death. Witnesses reported that several residents surrounded the police vehicle, shouting slogans and demanding strict punishment.

In the chaos, some members of the crowd slapped and attempted to assault the child’s father, who is reportedly a lawyer. The stepmother also faced intense anger from the crowd. Police struggled to control the situation and had to deploy additional personnel to prevent the violence from spiraling further.

Authorities eventually managed to move the suspects away from the area, though the incident reflected the depth of public outrage surrounding the case.

Relatives Claim Abuse Had Been Hidden For Months

Family members of the child have alleged that Arnav had been suffering abuse for a long time but was prevented from meeting relatives freely. His grandmother and uncle said they were rarely allowed to see him alone, raising suspicions that the injuries were deliberately concealed.

According to them, the boy was often forced to wear long-sleeved clothing even during intense summer heat. At times he was also made to wear a cap indoors, which relatives believe was done to hide bruises and burn marks.

Arnav’s biological mother had passed away earlier, after which the child initially stayed with extended family members. However, his father later took custody of him. Relatives now claim that the abuse intensified after he moved back into his father’s home, eventually leading to the fatal incident.

Police Investigation And Growing Calls For Justice

Police in the Chowk area have registered a case against both the father and stepmother and have begun a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child’s death. Preliminary findings indicate that the boy suffered repeated physical violence before his death.

Investigators are also examining whether the abuse had been reported earlier and whether any warning signs were overlooked. Officials say statements from neighbors and family members are being recorded to understand how long the alleged torture continued.

Meanwhile, the case has sparked intense debate about child protection and domestic violence. Many residents and community groups have demanded strict legal action, with some calling for the harshest possible punishment if the allegations are proven in court.

Authorities have urged people to remain calm and allow the legal process to proceed. However, the tragic death of the young boy has left the neighborhood shaken and raised serious questions about how such prolonged abuse went unnoticed.

Arnav’s death now stands as a painful reminder of the dangers children may face within their own homes, and the importance of early intervention when signs of abuse appear.
