Adivi Sesh : on “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast” for Dacoit This song was unavoidable as a child in the 1990s
Adivi Sesh : The classic 90s hit song “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast,” starring Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon, has been adapted by Adivi Sesh into the next movie “Dacoit.” The actor-writer said that it is a highly personal decision that is based on treasured childhood memories in addition to being a creative one.

Sesh made it clear that he wanted to evoke that feeling of nostalgia while he was creating the Dacoit teaser. In order to relive a part of his boyhood, he purposefully decided to legally get the song’s rights so that it might be used in the movie.
“Some songs become a part of who you are, and Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast has always been one of those for me,” Sesh told IANS. I was enthralled with this song as a child in the 1990s, and I couldn’t stop listening to it.
“It was a part of a dance medley the first time I ever performed on stage at school, and that memory has stuck with me all these years.”
The song was taken from Rajiv Rai’s 1994 action film “Mohra.” Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Poonam Jhawer, Raza Murad, Paresh Rawal, Gulshan Grover, and Naseeruddin Shah are also featured in the movie. According to reports, the 1987 movie Death Wish 4: The Crackdown served as the inspiration for the movie. Hard Boiled, a 1992 Hong Kong film, served as the inspiration for the conclusion.
Sesh had an instinctive desire to evoke such feeling when sculpting Dacoit.
Not as anything new, but as something sincere and natural. By included the song, I wanted to honor the younger me who first fell in love with music, performing, and interacting with an audience.
“It was important for me that we secured the rights correctly, because this wasn’t just a creative decision, it was a personal one,” he said in closing. I hope that when viewers hear it, it will arouse the same sense of nostalgia and vigor since it is a little piece of my history that now exists inside the movie.
Among the other actors in Dacoit are Mrunal Thakur, Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, and Zayn Marie Khan.
It follows the path of a furious prisoner who is resolved to get vengeance on his deceived ex-girlfriend. The narrative develops into an emotionally charged tale of love, betrayal, and retaliation as he devises a dangerous scheme to trap her.
Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo co-wrote the script and narrative for the movie, which was shot concurrently in Telugu and Hindi. Dacoit is now in post-production, preparing for a major nationwide release in India.
