Organised Prayer Gathering at Ayesha Mahal

The prayers commenced after the beginning of Ramadan and continued with active participation throughout the session. Organisers ensured that the arrangements were well-managed, with separate spaces allocated for men and women to maintain order and comfort.

Attendees arrived dressed in traditional clothing, contributing to the solemn and respectful atmosphere of the gathering. Seating and prayer arrangements were carefully planned to accommodate the large turnout, allowing devotees to participate without difficulty.

The JAK organisation is following the Ramadan calendar based on the crescent moon sighting reported in Saudi Arabia. The prayer event at Ayesha Mahal forms part of a series of religious activities being conducted throughout the holy month in the region.

Festive Lighting at Goripalayam Dargah

In Madurai, preparations for the upcoming Eid festival are already visible at the historic Goripalayam Dargah. The shrine has been adorned with colourful decorative lights, creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for visitors and worshippers.

The illumination of the dargah reflects the festive spirit that typically builds as Ramadan approaches its conclusion, with communities preparing for Eid celebrations marked by prayer, charity, and social gatherings.

Chief Minister Participates in Iftar Event

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin recently attended an Iftar gathering organised by the DMK Minorities Wing in Chennai. During the event, he extended his greetings to the Muslim community and acknowledged the importance of such gatherings during Ramadan.

According to the Chief Minister, this connection has continued across generations and remains an integral part of the party’s identity. He emphasised that the bond between the community and the party is deeply rooted and enduring.
