Lawrence Bishnoi Gang – Delhi Police have arrested two more alleged members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang after a brief exchange of fire in West Delhi, strengthening the investigation into the recent shooting outside a gym reportedly associated with Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa.
Delhi Police have detained two more suspected members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang following an early morning encounter in the Paschim Vihar area. According to officials, the accused are believed to have played a key role in the firing incident that took place outside a gym reportedly linked to Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa. With these latest arrests, the number of people taken into custody in connection with the case has increased to four.
Accused Tracked Down During Early Morning Operation
Police identified the arrested men as Sagar and Hakikat, also known as Sahil, both residents of Sonipat in Haryana. Investigators said the duo was intercepted near Meera Bagh in Paschim Vihar during a targeted operation conducted in the early hours of Thursday. Officials stated that a brief encounter took place before both suspects were successfully apprehended.
According to investigators, the two men were allegedly responsible for opening fire outside the gym as part of a planned operation directed by individuals believed to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi criminal network.
Police Name Alleged Handlers in the Case
During the investigation, police claimed that the accused were acting under instructions from Anil Pandit and Hariram Jat, also known as Harry Boxer. Both individuals remain absconding and are suspected to be operating from outside India. Authorities believe they continue to coordinate activities linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate from overseas.
Investigators are now examining communication records and other evidence to determine the extent of the accused persons’ involvement and to establish the wider network connected to the incident.
Arrests Increase as Investigation Expands
Officials confirmed that the latest action has raised the total number of arrests in the case to four. Earlier, police had already arrested two other alleged members of the same gang for their suspected involvement in the firing outside the gym in Paschim Vihar.
Law enforcement agencies are continuing to question all the arrested suspects while gathering additional evidence to identify any remaining individuals connected to the case. Police are also working to trace the absconding handlers believed to have directed the operation.
