Kedarnath – A wave of concern has spread among devotees and temple authorities after reports surfaced that the Roop Chhad, a sacred silver sceptre associated with the Kedarnath shrine, is currently unaccounted for. The revered object, believed by many devotees to represent the divine presence of Lord Kedarnath, was reportedly under the protection of the Badri Kedar Temple Committee. Its unexplained absence has raised serious questions about the safeguarding of religious artifacts at one of India’s most important pilgrimage sites.
