Sahu is now the state working president and a member of the Rajya Sabha.

In 1980, Aditya Sahu started his political career as a booth worker in Ranchi’s Kuchu village. He has been a committed party worker for the last forty-six years.

Former MP Ram Tahal Chaudhary taught Sahu the nuances of politics and organizational strategies, but Sahu never stayed close to any one group. He remained well-liked by everyone even though he was not affiliated with any group.

Sahu worked tirelessly under the direction of prominent Jharkhand leaders like Kariya Munda, Babulal Marandi, Arjun Munda, and Raghubar Das, as well as Kailashpati Mishra, the BJP patriarch in undivided Bihar.

Sahu has a reputation for being able to relate to party workers. He helped the party succeed in his role as head of the Palamu Division.

The BJP’s claim that even a worker at the booth level may become the party’s leader at the state or national level is reflected in Aditya Sahu’s appointment.

Only one nomination paper for the position of state president and twenty-one nomination papers for the twenty-one National Council seats were received, according to State Election Officer and Union Minister Juel Oran.

21 nominations were received for the 21 seats of the National Council, which include Kariya Munda, Arjun Munda, Raghubar Das, Champai Soren, Madhu Koda, Sanjay Seth, Annapurna Devi, Abhaykant Prasad, Yadunath Pandey, Pashupati Nath Singh, Ravindra Kumar Rai, Dineshanand Goswami, Deepak Prakash, Pradeep Verma, Samir Oraon, Anant Ojha, Geeta Koda, Amar Kumar Bauri, Neelkanth Singh Munda, Bhanu Pratap Shahi and Jitu Charan Ram.
