Pakistan: Three ladies, including his wife, and a 14-year-old kid were reportedly killed after a man opened fire inside a home in the Township area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu province. A first information report (FIR) said that another kid was hurt, Dawn said.

Dawn said that after the incident, the suspect, who was identified as a Bizan Khel resident, left the site. On the complaint of one of the victim’s relatives, police filed a case under Sections 302 (murder) and 324 (attempted murder) of the Pakistan Penal Code.
A post-mortem was ordered for the corpses. To apprehend the culprits, the Township police have conducted raids.
According to Township police, further research is being done on the event.
Police in Lahore discovered last week that a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) had murdered his wife and daughter, who was 19 years old.
About two months ago, DSP Usman Haider Gujjar, who was in charge of the Kahna police circle (investigation), filed a kidnapping complaint when his wife and daughter vanished, according to Dawn.
According to the Express Tribune, the DSP’s wife and daughter vanished on September 27, and on October 18, a formal application was filed to register the abduction case.
After that, the police opened an investigation, filed a case, and suspicions grew when the victim’s sister contacted the police and said the officer could have been involved.
Blood samples were subsequently found by forensic teams from a door and a bed in the suspect’s home. During a high-level investigation, top officers confronted the DSP after laboratory findings confirmed suspicions.
A police officer said, “After being presented with the forensic findings, the suspect confessed to the crime,” according to The Express Tribune.
