Rashami Desai : removes Instagram post on Mamata Banerjee and Amit Shah Didn’t want to do harm
Rashami Desai: After receiving criticism for the content of an AI-generated post on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Home Minister Amit Shah, television actress Rashami Desai deleted it from her Instagram account.

The actress said on Instagram that she had received a message voicing concerns about the pictures, which allegedly included high-ranking political figures and were deemed offensive and deceptive. Rashami acknowledged the problem and stated she took down the post right away.
In the email she got, she included a screenshot that said, “Hello Rashami, Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, and Respected Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister of India, are depicted in the pictures you shared in an offensive, defamatory, and deceptive way.
“Even when done as satire or humor (sic), publishing or disseminating content that harms the dignity, reputation, or public standing of constitutional authorities can result in serious legal consequences under Indian law.”
“I kindly ask that you take down this message right now in order to prevent legal action, police complaints, and regulatory inspection. Respect for the constitution and public decency are at stake here.

The actress took a stance and made it clear that she didn’t want to offend anybody. She went on to say that she was pleased to see young people participating in important discussions and being active on social media.
With no intention of hurting anyone’s feelings or sentiments, she wrote: “I am extremely happy to see the youth being so active on Instagram. I have deleted the AI-generated story. I will be even happier if the youth consistently speaks for the right things at the right time.”
Rashami had a dual part in Pari Hoon Main after making her Hindi television debut in 2006 with Raavan. After becoming well-known for her role in Uttaran, she appeared on reality series including Bigg Boss 13, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6, Nach Baliye 7, and Zara Nachke Dikha 2.
