The Sankat Mochan Temple holds a special place in Hindu tradition. Dedicated to Lord Hanuman in his role as the remover of obstacles, the temple draws devotees from across the country. It was established in the early 16th century by poet-saint Tulsidas and is located near the banks of the Assi River. Over centuries, it has become a significant spiritual landmark in Varanasi.
Prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Temple
