Apple – Apple Reports Strong Global Growth as India Delivers Another Record Quarter
Apple – Apple reported another strong financial quarter, posting record June-quarter revenue across every major geographic region, including India. Despite facing notable supply chain limitations and foreign exchange challenges, the company maintained solid growth, reflecting resilient demand for its products in several key markets around the world.

Revenue Growth Across Global Markets
Apple announced quarterly revenue of $109.4 billion, representing a 16 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The company’s gross margin reached 50.1 percent, supported by a favorable impact of nearly two percentage points from tariff refunds. Diluted earnings per share climbed to $2.02, marking a 29 percent year-on-year increase, with tariff-related refunds contributing approximately $0.11 per share.
Speaking about the results, Apple CEO Tim Cook said the company achieved June-quarter revenue records in every geographic segment. He highlighted strong business performance across the United States, Latin America, Western Europe, India, Mainland China, Japan, and Southeast Asia, adding that the company delivered these results despite facing significant supply chain constraints and currency-related headwinds.
Mac Business Emerges as a Major Growth Driver
Apple’s Mac business recorded one of its strongest performances during the quarter. Global Mac revenue reached $10.4 billion, a 29 percent increase from a year earlier and the highest June-quarter result for the product category. The company credited this growth to rising demand for the MacBook Neo and MacBook Pro lineup, which attracted both new customers and existing users looking to upgrade their devices.
India also played an important role in this success. Apple reported another record revenue quarter in the country, with Mac products standing out as the fastest-growing category. Increased adoption of the MacBook Neo, combined with continued demand for the iPhone 17 series, helped drive overall performance, even though iPhone availability remained limited due to ongoing supply constraints.
New Customers Continue to Expand Apple’s Ecosystem
Apple Chief Financial Officer Kevan Parekh said the latest quarter was the company’s strongest ever for customers purchasing a Mac for the first time, as well as for existing users upgrading to newer models. According to him, this trend was evident in several important markets, including the United States, Mainland China, and India.
The company’s latest performance also reflects continued consumer interest in Apple’s broader product ecosystem. Industry observers believe that growing adoption of Mac devices is encouraging more users to invest in additional Apple products and services, strengthening long-term customer engagement.
Stable Pricing Supports Market Position
Industry analysts noted that Apple has largely maintained stable pricing across its product portfolio despite rising component and memory costs affecting the wider consumer electronics industry. This pricing strategy has helped the company remain competitive while preserving customer demand in premium market segments.
Tarun Pathak, Research Director at Counterpoint Research, said India is expected to witness modest unit growth but stronger value growth during calendar year 2026. He believes an iPhone price increase remains likely, but Apple’s premium brand appeal is expected to continue attracting first-time buyers. According to him, the positive effect of Apple’s ecosystem is now extending beyond smartphones, with Mac products delivering particularly strong momentum during the latest quarter.
Outlook Remains Positive Despite Industry Challenges
Analysts also pointed out that rising component costs are placing increasing pressure on Android smartphone manufacturers, many of whom must balance profitability with shipment volumes. Apple, however, has so far managed to avoid making that difficult trade-off.
Experts believe Apple’s large installed customer base, combined with the encouraging early response to its Siri AI capabilities, positions the company to outperform much of the hardware industry in the coming months. The latest quarterly results reinforce confidence in Apple’s ability to sustain growth while navigating supply challenges, changing market conditions, and increasing competition across global technology markets.
