The victims were reportedly returning home after visiting the revered Kela Devi temple in Rajasthan. The incident took place near Pai village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Chitrahat police station. Authorities confirmed that the group had completed their religious visit and was on their way back to Etawah when the mishap occurred.

According to initial findings shared by local police, the SUV was carrying members of a single family along with the driver. During the late-night journey, the vehicle suddenly veered off the road and crashed into a tree. The collision was extremely forceful, causing extensive damage to the front portion of the vehicle. Victims Identified by Authorities
Senior police officials confirmed that those who lost their lives included three men, one woman, and a young child. The deceased have been identified as 70-year-old Kanta Prasad, his son Devendra (35), daughter-in-law Seema (30), their three-year-old granddaughter Aradhya, and the driver, 20-year-old Rishi. The family had been traveling together for the pilgrimage and were returning home at the time of the accident.

The injured passengers were immediately transported to Safai Medical College Hospital in Etawah for treatment. Officials stated that their condition remains critical, and medical teams are closely monitoring their recovery.
