Pulwama – On the anniversary of the Pulwama terror attack, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath honoured the security personnel who lost their lives in one of the most devastating incidents in recent years.

On Saturday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remembered the 40 Central Reserve Police Force personnel who were killed in the February 14, 2019 attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. In a message shared on social media platform X, he paid homage to the soldiers, describing their sacrifice as a lasting symbol of courage and national resolve.
He noted that the bravery and dedication shown by the fallen personnel continue to inspire the country in its fight against terrorism. The 2019 Pulwama Terror Attack
The attack took place on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway in Pulwama district, where a convoy of CRPF vehicles was moving from Jammu to Srinagar. The convoy consisted of 78 buses carrying nearly 2,500 personnel. A vehicle-borne suicide bomber rammed into one of the buses, triggering a massive explosion that claimed the lives of 40 security personnel and left several others injured.
