Military Warning –  The General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces has issued a firm warning that any aggression against the country will be met with a stronger and more expansive response.

The statement, released Tuesday and carried by state broadcaster Press TV, comes just ahead of celebrations marking the 47th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Military leaders used the occasion to underline what they described as Iran’s readiness to safeguard its sovereignty amid rising regional strains.

Statement Issued Ahead of Revolution Anniversary

In its message, the General Staff praised the resilience of the Iranian people over the past four decades and reiterated the military’s commitment to national defense. Officials said Iran would stand decisively against what they called threats, interference, or hostile actions targeting its territory.

According to the statement, the country remains prepared to counter any challenge with what it described as a proportionate but broader reaction. The Armed Forces emphasized that defending national interests and strategic objectives remains a core priority.

The remarks were timed to coincide with preparations for February 11 rallies, which commemorate the revolution that reshaped Iran’s political system and established the Islamic Republic.

In addition to outlining defense priorities, the General Staff encouraged citizens to take part in nationwide events marking the revolution anniversary. Large public gatherings are expected across major cities on February 11.

Military leaders said strong turnout would signal unity and reinforce the country’s position against external adversaries. They described public participation as a demonstration of solidarity at a time of geopolitical uncertainty.

Earlier this week, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei also urged citizens to show determination during the commemorations, stating that national cohesion would counter outside pressure.
