Viral khabar: The customer’s life is saved by the jeweler’s son doing prompt CPR, but the internet believes that “his technique was wrong.”
Viral khabar: A routine business day at a crowded Kota market abruptly devolved into a life-or-death situation. The internet is in shock over a now-viral CCTV footage from Vardhman Jewellers in Rampura Bazaar, which shows a 60-year-old Jaipur businessman going into cardiac arrest and being saved in time by the jeweller’s quick thinking.

The event happened at around 1:58 p.m. on Thursday, December 11. The guy has been identified as Rajkumar Soni, a gemstone seller from the Jhotwara neighborhood of Jaipur, according to India TV. The trader suddenly seemed uneasy as he was talking business while sat at the jewelry counter. In a matter of seconds, he lost his breath, slumped slightly forward, and fell to the ground.

The terrible event was caught on CCTV. Customers and employees became alarmed as the guy lay still. The man’s usual visit abruptly devolved into a race against time, with his life hanging by a thread, as someone hurried to his side and others stepped in to aid.
The 37-year-old son of store owner Vimal Kumar Jain, Varun Jain, stepped forward and assumed leadership amid the chaos. Relying only on information from community programs and without professional medical training, Varun promptly put Rajkumar flat on the ground and administered CPR.
Man Was Brought Back to Life in 2.5 Minutes
As everyone around him stared in fear, Varun persisted in crushing his chest for a persistent two and a half minutes. Instead of panicking, the guy in the video is focused and makes a sincere effort to resuscitate him. A few moments later, Rajkumar shifted a little, struggling to breathe. Rajkumar received prompt medical attention at the store before being sent to a hospital for further care.
“I felt chest pain, then nothing, everything went blank,” the guy said in a statement upon his awakening, recalling just a few minutes of the event. Vimal Jain, the shop owner, attested that Rajkumar had not shown any symptoms of concern during their earlier conversation about the jewelry and company.
The Internet Is Great for Man
Social media users showered the remarks with compliments as the video went viral. Varun’s presence of mind was praised by many; one person commented, “Excellent work.” It’s good that he acted promptly. “He was moving his hand, less likely to need CPR,” was another observation. It’s wonderful to help someone, however….. “Salute,” someone added.
The video has rekindled demands for comprehensive CPR training across India, demonstrating that bravery and instinct may sometimes mean the difference between life and death.
