CM Yogi: the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, presided over a high-level meeting on Tuesday to discuss the state’s future implementation plans and the status of the “Mission Karmayogi” project. The meeting’s main topics were the mission’s implementation, digital platforms, training infrastructure, and departmental capacity-building initiatives.

The Capacity Building Commission’s chairperson, S. Radha Chauhan, gave a thorough update on the mission’s implementation progress in Uttar Pradesh at the meeting.
According to CM Yogi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mission Karmayogi” is a revolutionary program designed to develop a skilled and productive workforce that blends contemporary viewpoints with traditional Indian values. The effort aims to improve governance’s responsiveness, accountability, and focus on results.
About 30 lakh federal government officials, 2.2 crore state government workers, and 50 lakh employees of urban local bodies and Panchayati Raj institutions are to get training under the mission, authorities told the Chief Minister. Strengthening 790 central government training facilities nationwide is another goal of the program.
The Integrated Government Online Training (iGOT) platform was created to provide ongoing online training. With more than 1.45 crore registered users, iGOT has grown to become the biggest government-driven capacity-building platform in the world. There are 4,179 training courses available on the site, 540 in 15 additional regional languages and 840 in Hindi. Approximately 6.7 crore courses have been successfully completed to far, with a 70% completion rate. More than 50 lakh people have downloaded the iGOT app.
With more than 18.8 lakh workers onboarded—93% of all onboarding nationwide in 2025—Uttar Pradesh has become a leader in the successful deployment of iGOT. Furthermore, over 10 lakh state users have finished at least one training program, with 72 lakh courses completed overall, which accounts for 99 percent of all completions nationwide in 2025. The state’s efforts to advance skill development, effective governance, and citizen-centric services are reflected in this accomplishment.
The Chief Minister gave the order for all government agencies and departments to create training programs that meet their needs and post them on the iGOT website. Additionally, he ordered that all officials and staff participate in a seven-day required capacity-building program that is connected to promotions and Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs).
CM Yogi emphasized the need for AI and cyber security components in training programs and recommended that quality case studies from various Uttar Pradesh departments be included to the iGOT’s “Amrit Gyan Kosh” platform. He emphasized that raising the standard of public service requires combining knowledge, abilities, and a positive outlook.
In order to improve service delivery and responsiveness at the local level, the Chief Minister also directed that frontline employees, including ASHA employees, police constables, and staff from Panchayati Raj institutions and urban bodies, should prioritize practical, ongoing, and need-based training.
