An accident on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway almost spares UP Minister Rani Maurya.
After a truck driver lost control of his vehicle and struck her automobile on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway on Friday night, Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Baby Rani Maurya had a near call. According to officials, the incident happened in Firozabad close to the 56th kilometer mark when a truck that was ahead of the minister’s car had an unexpected tire rupture.
According to SDM Anivesh Kumar of Sirsaganj, the truck skidded out of control and struck the vehicle of the state minister of women’s welfare and child development. After participating in events at Hathras, Maurya was on her way back to Lucknow.
Using quick reflexes, Rani Maurya’s driver managed to bring the car under control, although it was seriously damaged. The minister, however, was uninjured and proceeded to Lucknow in a different car.
“I am safe by the infinite grace of Parampita Parameshwar and all of you, my dear well-wishers,” Maurya later said in a post on X. At the time, just one lane was used to handle traffic on the highway.
The truck involved in the collision was confiscated by the police as soon as they got on the site.
Subsequently, the minister gave the authorities stern instructions to guarantee highway safety and avoid mishaps. She emphasized the need of timely response systems and proactive monitoring. In light of the event, authorities are anticipated to examine the safety procedure for the road.
