IPL 2026 Auction:  The 359 selected players will be put up for sale in the IPL 2026 auction on December 16 in Abu Dhabi. In order to bolster their teams in preparation for the next season, each of the ten clubs will be doing their hardest in the mini-auction.

The IPL auction will be held outside of India for the third consecutive year. Together, the 10 cricket teams kept 173 players, including 49 players from abroad. During the next auction, the clubs will fight to fill a maximum of 77 available places, and each team may assemble a roster of no more than 25 players.

There are 246 Indians and 113 foreign players on the list of registered players. 114 of the 359 are players with caps. There are 15 uncapped international players and 230 uncapped Indian players in the pool. The next mini-auction will include players from ten other nations in addition to the Indian celebrities. The 37 players with the highest base price are Quinton de Kock, David Miller of South Africa, Venkatesh Iyer and Ravi Bishnoi of India, and Cameron Green of Australia.

Notably, certain well-known players, like as Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell, have chosen to forgo the 2026 Indian Premier League. The only associate-nation cricket player on the list is Virandeep Singh of Malaysia. At the 2026 IPL auction, each franchise would have a total budget of Rs 237.55 crore to spend.
