These power shutdowns are being carried out to facilitate essential maintenance work by Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited. Residents and businesses in the affected zones are advised to prepare in advance to minimize inconvenience and ensure continuity of daily activities.

Power Interruption Details for December 27

On December 27, maintenance work will be conducted at the 220/66/11 kV SRS Peenya substation. Due to this activity, electricity supply will remain suspended for several hours in selected areas.

The scheduled power cut will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until 5:00 PM. Residents in and around the Peenya region should plan essential tasks accordingly, especially those dependent on uninterrupted power such as offices, factories, and small businesses.

Areas Affected on December 27

Several residential, commercial, and industrial localities will experience power outages on this day. These include Peenya Village, SRS Road, Peenya 2nd Block and 4th Block, MEI Factory area, Rajagopala Nagar, Kasturi Badavane, GKW Layout, Bairaveshwar Nagar, and Peenya Industrial Area Phase 1. Additional impacted stretches include 3rd Cross, 4th Cross, Slum Road, Anu Solar Road, Chair Factory Road, General Metal Circle, General Metal Road, Sunrise Casting Road, and the vicinity of Vaishnavi Mall.

Other locations facing interruption include Grihalakshmi Apartment, SM Road, Jalahalli Cross, Chokkasandra, Maruti Layout, Kempaiah Layout, GG Palya, ISRO area, Narayanpur, NTTF Circle, Ganapathinagar Main Road, Police Station Road, Chamundipur, Rajeshwari Nagar, and Akash Theatre Road along with surrounding neighborhoods.

On December 28, similar maintenance work will be undertaken at the Soladevanahalli substation. This activity will result in a longer power outage compared to the previous day.

Electricity supply will be interrupted from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Residents are encouraged to charge essential devices, plan work schedules, and make alternate arrangements where necessary, particularly for elderly residents and healthcare needs.

A wide range of northern and north-western Bengaluru localities will be impacted. These include Tarabanahalli, Hurulichikkanahalli, TB Cross, Hesarghatta, Dwarakanagar, Chikkabanavara, Maruti Nagar, Ganapathi Nagar, Shantinagar, Brothers Colony, Krishna College Road, Raghavendra Layout, Sasuveghatta, Bajjappa Layout, Shivakumaraswamiji Layout, Guddadahalli, Dasenahalli, Thotagere Basavanna Temple area, Hosahalli Palya, and the KMF Animal Husbandry zone.

Additional areas facing power cuts are Somashitihalli, Ganigarahalli, K.T.
