Travel Boost from Mumbai to Goa: In order to handle the spike in passenger demand over the Christmas and New Year vacation season, Indian Railways has announced an extension of Train No. 22115/22116 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Karmali–LTT Express to Madgaon.

Effective from December 18, 2025, until January 15, 2026, the extended operation will be in place. The goal of this short-term extension is to improve travel connections for travelers from Mumbai and the neighboring areas who are heading to Goa. It is anticipated that the move would reduce traffic on well-traveled roads and provide more convenience to tourists organizing joyous getaways during the busiest holiday season.

According to the updated timetable, Train No. 22115 would leave Mumbai’s Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Thursday at 12.50 am and reach Madgaon at 11.15 am. Every Thursday at 1.50 pm, Train No. 22116, the return train, departs Madgaon and arrives at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12.10 am the next day.

At Thane, Panvel, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, and Karmali, the train will stop. The rake has generator cars, a pantry car, first, second, and third tier air conditioners. Reservations may be made online and via authorized centers.
