Punjab Governor Highlights : On December 4, 951 students from various schools of Rayat Bahra University received graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees during the university’s ninth annual convocation held on its campus in Ludhiana. Chief guest Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria emphasized the transforming role of teachers in nation-building during his convocation speech, and he called for cooperation to protect young people from the rising menace of drug usage.

According to the Governor, teachers do more than just impart knowledge; they also mold morals, arouse aspirations, and encourage young people to think about a brighter future.
The Governor emphasized the changing difficulties that kids encounter and reaffirmed the need for educators to be mentors who can identify changes in children’s emotions and behavior in addition to being academic advisors.
The governor emphasized that no community can advance unless its educators are valued and empowered, saying that teachers are the designers of a country’s future.

According to the Governor, “the efforts of institutions like Rayat Bahra University are truly commendable.” In addition to bolstering the academic environment, they are making sure that no worthy student is left behind because of financial limitations by providing scholarships, freeships, and encouraging inclusive learning. He encouraged the university administration to work toward developing the inner potential of young people from border regions by setting up such high-quality institutions there as well.
Speaking during the event, Gurvinder Singh Bahra, the chairman of the RayatBahra Group of Institutions and chancellor of RayatBahra University, congratulated the graduates and postgraduates and wished them well in life. He urged the students to use their knowledge and abilities with commitment and tenacity to the benefit and advancement of society. He gave all of the pupils his congratulations and best wishes.
Speaking as the honored guest, former MP Avinash Rai Khanna emphasized the value of perseverance and unwavering commitment. He was certain that RayatBahra University has prepared the departing students to take on the challenging and competitive outside world.
Other honored visitors were Hari Singh Bhambra, Managing Director of Preet Tractors Private Ltd., and Commander Navneet Bali, Executive Director and CEO, Morgan Stanley, USA. Additionally in attendance were Gurinder Singh Bahra, Vice-Chairman of the RayatBahra Group, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar, group vice chancellor, and Prof. (Dr.) SK Bansal, pro vice chancellor. 510 undergraduate students, 400 postgraduate students, and 23 PhD students received degrees during the convocation. In addition, eighteen gold medals were given out.
Students from the School of Law, School of Management Studies, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Engineering and Technology, and School of Social Sciences were among those who obtained their degrees, according to Abhinav Ashish Tripathy, controller of examination.
