Areas Facing Eight-Hour Power Disruption

According to the official schedule, a large number of localities will face electricity cuts from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. These include prominent residential and commercial zones such as Thokar Chouraha, Vardhman Nagar, Pratapnagar Police Station area, and Sukher Road. Key landmarks like the Glass Factory, SBI Bank vicinity, and Judge Quarters are also on the list.

In addition, neighborhoods such as Swastik Nagar, Meera Nagar, Chandra Colony, and UIT Colony will be affected during this period. Industrial and institutional locations, including Kamlesh Engineering, ITI Ghati, and Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, are also expected to remain without power for several hours.

Other areas listed for the outage include Bedwas Bus Stand, Shriram Colony, Ashapura Colony, and Dhebar Colony. Commercial establishments around D-Mart, Secure Meters, and Oswal Plaza will also experience disruptions, along with nearby residential pockets.

Impact on Daily Activities Expected

The extended duration of the power cut is likely to affect daily routines for residents and businesses alike. With temperatures rising during the day, households may face inconvenience due to the lack of cooling systems. Small businesses, workshops, and offices operating in the affected zones may also see interruptions in their regular functioning.

Educational institutions such as Little Flower School and MDS School fall within the impacted areas, which could influence scheduled classes or administrative activities. Similarly, transportation hubs like Rana Pratap Nagar Railway Station may need to rely on backup arrangements during the outage.

Separate Schedule for Additional Localities

Apart from the main list, a few areas will undergo a shorter duration of power disruption. Electricity supply in locations such as Kaain House Road, Nakoda Abhinandan Hills Colony, Sukhadia Nagar, Mahaveer Field Park, and Titardi will remain suspended from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Residents in these areas have been advised to plan their day accordingly, especially for activities that depend heavily on electricity. The power utility has emphasized that the work is essential to maintain infrastructure efficiency and reduce the chances of unexpected outages in the future.

Advisory Issued for Residents

Authorities have requested residents to take necessary precautions ahead of the scheduled shutdown. This includes charging essential electronic devices, arranging backup lighting, and ensuring that any critical electrical equipment is safely managed during the outage period.

The maintenance activity is part of ongoing efforts by AVVNL to strengthen the power network and improve service reliability. While temporary inconvenience is expected, officials have assured that such measures contribute to better long-term performance of the electricity supply system.

Residents are encouraged to stay updated through official communication channels for any changes or updates to the schedule.
