Nala Sopara: Four people were arrested with firearms after a plan to rob a jewelry store in was foiled

Nala Sopara: According to authorities on Monday, the Virar Police’s Crime Branch Unit 3 successfully stopped a planned robbery in the Nala Sopara region and took four suspects into custody. According to Senior Police Inspector Shahuraj Ranware, an informant alerted the authorities about a gang attempting to rob a jewelry store in the neighborhood. The crime branch team acted quickly in response to the intelligence, launching a raid and apprehending the suspects before they could carry out the crime.

We conducted a raid and detained four people in response to the feedback. We found a handgun, a domestic weapon, and a number of other incriminating objects in their hands during the operation,” Ranware said. Four suspects have been arrested, according to the police, but one of them escaped and is presently at large. To find and apprehend the last suspect, a manhunt has been initiated.To ascertain the group’s prior criminal activity and if they are connected to other robbery instances in the area, further research is being conducted.

A week later, two Muzaffarpur suspects were taken into custody by a combined team of the Mumbai Crime Branch and the Bihar Special Task Force (STF).

The Mumbai Crime Branch contacted the Bihar Special Task Force (STF) based on scientific research and technology monitoring. Police teams from both states collaborated to raid a community under the Bela police station in Muzaffarpur after confirming the information. Two suspects were taken into custody: Ramanand Yadav, also known as Anand Yadav, who lived in Gorakhpur, and Ramjanm Gond, who lived in Azamgarh. They yielded two sets of earrings, two gold necklaces, and two gold chains, including a locket.After perpetrating the act, the culprit escaped to Bihar, according to a police official. In Muzaffarpur, the required legal procedures were finished after the two suspects were taken into custody. Both of the suspects were then sent on transit remand to Mumbai by the Mumbai Crime Branch team. There, they will be questioned further to learn more about the other gang members and the other stolen valuables, a police official said.
