Mumbai University : Winter 2025 Exams Rescheduled Again Due to State Elections
Mumbai University: The Winter 2025 examination schedule of University of Mumbai has been revised once again, creating the need for students and academic institutions to quickly adapt to the updated timeline. The decision to reschedule the exams has been taken due to the upcoming Zilla Parishad elections in Maharashtra. This is the second major change to the examination calendar, as the exams were earlier postponed because of the Municipal Corporation elections. According to the revised timetable issued by the university, all papers originally scheduled on 14 January 2026 will now be conducted on 17 February 2026. Exams that were earlier planned for 15 January 2026 have been moved to 18 February 2026, while those scheduled for 16 January 2026 will take place on 20 February 2026. Additionally, examinations that were earlier revised to 7 February 2026 have now been rescheduled to 21 February 2026. These changes apply uniformly to all papers across faculties, ensuring consistency in the updated schedule.
Exam Timings Will Remain Unchanged
While the examination dates have been revised multiple times, the university has clearly stated that the exam timings will remain exactly the same as previously announced. Students are advised to focus only on the new dates and not worry about any changes in shift timings or session durations.
