MP Board: Exam dates for Hindi, Urdu, and Marathi subjects have been moved to March by
MP Board: In order to prioritize student comfort and take logistical concerns into account, the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has released a new schedule for the 2026 High School (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) Board exams. Key dates and subject sequences have been adjusted.

On January 9, 2026, the Board formally announced the revised timetable, which is accessible on the MPBSE website at mpbse.nic.in.
Language courses are the main ones affected by the revisions, which move them later in the calendar while maintaining the test window as a whole.
The Hindi test for Class 10, which was initially set for February 11, 2026, has been moved to March 6, 2026.
Students now have more time to be ready for this required topic thanks to the delay.
The Urdu and Marathi papers for Class 12 will now take place on March 6, 2026, instead of February 9, 2026.
The February 7, 2026, date of the Hindi paper has been rescheduled to March 7, 2026. These changes allow for a more even distribution of courses by rearranging the early portion of the tests.
Class 10 exams will start on February 13, 2026, while Class 12 theoretical exams will start on February 10, 2026.
There will be a single morning shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for all theoretical papers in both sections. According to the Board authorities, students should be at the test locations by 8:00 AM and be seated by 8:30 AM. Entry will shut at 8:45 AM, and OMR sheets and question papers will be distributed at 8:50 and 8:55 AM, respectively.
Regular students’ practical exams are still planned to take place in their respective schools between February 10 and March 10, 2026, while private applicants will appear at specific locations at that time.
All connected schools have been instructed by the MPBSE to swiftly notify parents and pupils of the updated schedule. The updated schedule should be shared via parent communication groups like WhatsApp, posted on notice boards, and announced at assemblies.
For correct reference, students are urged to get the whole revised date sheet straight from the official MPBSE page. More than 16.60 lakh students who are anticipated to take the 2026 Board examinations are impacted by this adjustment.
The Board stresses that while the present schedule is definitive, it has the power to alter it further if necessary, and any revisions will be communicated via formal means. To guarantee peak performance, authorities advise applicants to keep informed and modify their study schedules as necessary.
