Kerala SIR: On December 23, the draft electoral list will be released
Kerala SIR: The draft of the state electoral register would be released on December 23, according to Kerala Chief Electoral Officer Rathan U. Kelkar, who also declared that Kerala has completed 100% digitization of the enumeration forms under the SIR procedure.

Following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) enumeration phase in Kerala, which ended on December 18, 2025, this notification was released.
According to the Kerala CEO, the state has identified 24.81 lakh uncollectibles. He said that the political parties in the state have been given access to the list of uncollectibles.
“Kerala will finish the SIR’s enumeration phase tonight at midnight, and by 10 AM, all of the enumeration forms will have been digitized. As part of the digitization process, we have identified 24.81 lakhs of individuals who are uncollectible. The draft electoral register will be published on December 23. Thus, the political parties have been given access to the list of uncollectibles, commonly known as the ASD list. The time of claims and objections, which lasts for about a month after December 23rd, is when booth-level agents, political parties, or the public at large may voice their concerns.” During a news conference, Kelkar said.
Following the SIR of voter lists, the Election Commission earlier released the draft rosters for West Bengal on December 16. Of these, 58,20,899 voters, or 7.59 percent, had been removed due to permanent movement, death, or being untraceable.
As of December 11, 7,08,16,630 electors had turned in their enumeration forms, out of a total of 7,66,37,529 voters, the Election Commission said in a news release.
According to the polling organization, during the Claims and Objections period, which runs from December 16 to January 15, 2026, legitimate voters may still be brought back to the electoral lists.
“With the help of volunteers, DEOs from all 24 districts, 294 EROs, 3059 AEROs, and BLOs stationed at 80,681 voting places successfully completed this phase. Up to 1,81,454 Booth Level Agents (BLAs) were appointed by the eight recognized political parties, and field members from each of them—including their District Presidents—participated actively as well,” the West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer said.
