The construction of towers for electricity and communication services, the purification of ores in mining regions, and central and state government road projects would all be forbidden from deep drilling (more than 300 feet). Additionally, before drawing water from a river or dam that flows through the region, the management of the relevant forest area must be notified of any activities.

Before receiving environmental and forest clearance for any new project, the involved organization must also submit an evaluation of the water to be utilized. After that, clearance will be given in accordance with the water supply in the area. It is forbidden to build permanent buildings or roads on forest property.

Nonetheless, extensive drilling has been done on forest property for nearby building projects. This year, the state has had more rainfall than usual. As a result, the amount of groundwater has also increased.

Additionally, compared to other years, there is more water recharge from tiny streams and natural check dams in the woods. To preserve this natural potential, the Forest and Environment Department is creating new regulations.
