Himachal Pradesh: A seven-year-old girl was burnt alive, and a large fire that started early Monday in residential structures in the old bus station area of Arki town in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh is thought to have trapped other people, including two women and four children.

After more LPG cylinders burst, the situation worsened as the fire quickly spread and became difficult for firefighters to contain.
Gaurav Singh, the Solan Superintendent of Police (SP), informed the media that personnel from the fire department and police were there for the rescue effort.
To expedite the relief and rescue efforts, he added, personnel from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have also been sent in.
Eight to nine persons are thought to be trapped in the fire, according to local lawmaker Sanjay Awasthi.
According to him, the dead youngster came from a household of migrant workers.
Six to seven cylinders burst, according to officials, escalating the fire and seriously damaging surrounding buildings.
Both Member of Parliament Suresh Kashyap and State BJP President Rajiv Bindal expressed their sorrow over the occurrence. They said that the whole state has been rocked by the horrific tragedy.
“It is quite terrible that the youngster died so young. They prayed, “May God grant the deceased soul peace and give the grieving family the strength to endure this intolerable pain.”
They called on the government to provide the impacted families all the help they could right now and to carry on the hunt for the missing individuals on a war footing.
