FireIncident – Early Morning Blaze Damages Tyre Shop Near Hyderabad Power Station
FireIncident – A fire broke out at a tyre shop located near an electricity power station in the Tolichowki area of Hyderabad during the early hours of Saturday. Emergency services responded quickly to the incident and managed to control the flames before they could spread further. Authorities confirmed that no injuries or fatalities were reported in the incident.

Fire Reported Around 3 AM in Tolichowki
According to fire department officials, the blaze was reported at approximately 3 a.m. The tyre shop, situated close to an electricity power facility, caught fire under circumstances that are still unclear. Local residents noticed smoke and flames rising from the shop and promptly alerted emergency authorities.
Two fire engines were dispatched to the location shortly after the alert was received. Firefighters worked swiftly to contain the flames and prevent the fire from reaching nearby structures, including the adjacent power station.
Firefighters Control Blaze Without Casualties
Fire department personnel were able to bring the situation under control after working at the scene for a considerable period. Officials confirmed that no one was injured during the incident, and the shop was closed at the time the fire started.
A fire department officer said the department received information about the blaze shortly after it began and immediately mobilized response teams. Firefighters used standard firefighting equipment to suppress the flames and secure the surrounding area to avoid any secondary hazards.
Although the fire was successfully contained, authorities have not yet determined what caused the blaze.
Investigation Underway to Determine Cause
Officials stated that an investigation has been initiated to determine the exact cause of the fire. Technical teams will assess the affected site to identify whether the blaze was triggered by electrical issues, accidental ignition, or other factors.
Authorities are also evaluating the extent of damage to the tyre shop and any nearby property. Since the fire occurred close to an electricity installation, precautionary inspections are expected to ensure that nearby infrastructure was not compromised.
Further information about property loss and the cause of the incident will be released after the preliminary investigation is completed.
Recent Fire Incident in Chandanagar
This incident follows another fire reported earlier this week in Hyderabad. On Thursday, a separate blaze occurred at a furniture warehouse belonging to Anu Furniture in the Chandanagar area.
Emergency responders deployed a larger team for that incident, sending eight fire tenders to the location. Firefighters worked to control the flames and prevent them from spreading to surrounding buildings.
No Injuries Reported in Warehouse Fire
Authorities confirmed that the Chandanagar warehouse fire also did not result in any casualties. Officials said the situation was brought under control after firefighters carried out a coordinated response at the scene.
Similar to the Tolichowki incident, investigators are currently examining the Chandanagar warehouse fire to determine how it started and to estimate the scale of damage caused to the property and stored goods.
Authorities Urge Fire Safety Awareness
Following the two incidents, officials emphasized the importance of fire safety precautions, especially in commercial areas where flammable materials are often stored. Businesses have been advised to ensure proper electrical maintenance, maintain fire safety equipment, and follow safety guidelines to reduce the risk of similar incidents.
Fire department teams continue to monitor sensitive areas and respond to emergency alerts across the city to ensure public safety.
Further updates regarding both incidents are expected once investigations are completed.
