Delhi Pollution: The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) reports that at 7 am, the national capital’s air quality index (AQI) fell to 293, falling into the “poor” category. In comparison to the previous several days, the AQI has improved. The city’s AQI remained over 300 on Monday, keeping it in the “very poor” category. According to the CPCB, the 24-hour average AQI was 314 at 4 p.m., down from 308 at the same time on Sunday.

Gurugram scored an AQI of 313 (very poor), whereas Faridabad registered 137 (moderate). Firozabad scored 140 (moderate), while Yamuna Nagar recorded 146 (moderate). Ghaziabad’s Indirapuram had an AQI of 249 (poor). Greater Noida scored 231 (bad), Gorakhpur scored 82 (acceptable), while Noida earned a very poor AQI of 314. 273 (poor) were recorded by Muzaffarnagar.
