Delhi Crime: Husband Arrested, Pistol Found; Woman Shot Dead in Pilkhuwa Due to Alcohol Dispute

Delhi Crime: A 26-year-old lady was shot in the Chandi Road neighborhood of Aryanagar Colony and died under strange circumstances. After neighboring people made charges and a firearm was found on the property, police arrested the woman’s husband.

The Event
The deceased, who was identified as 26-year-old Babli, was discovered with a right temple gunshot wound. Reports said that after hearing a disturbance, family members hurried to the residence on Tuesday morning and found Babli’s dead on the ground.

According to reports, the husband and wife were in the room when the event occurred. According to local reports, the husband’s alcoholism was a regular cause of conflict between the couple, and on Tuesday night there was reportedly a disagreement over the same matter.

Investigation and Recovery by the Police
Police arrived at the area on Wednesday morning after learning of the deceased. According to CO Anita Chauhan, the case seems to be one of murder on the surface.

The police arrested Sachin, the suspected husband, during the ensuing inquiry. A country-made handgun that had been concealed on the house’s roof after the event was found by authorities based on information the accused supplied.

CO Chauhan affirmed that a comprehensive investigation is in progress and that further legal action would be taken in response to the facts gathered.

Context
Originally from the Meerut district’s Kaili Panchi, Sachin married Babli almost nine years ago. Divyanshi, the couple’s daughter, is four years old.

Before this tragic event, Sachin had been living with his wife and kid in Pilkhuwa, next to his in-laws’ home, which he had constructed about a year before.
