Upon reaching the scene, police discovered that the injured individuals had already been transported to Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital by local residents.

According to a senior police official, Mohan Lal later succumbed to his injuries during medical treatment. Virender, the second victim, remains injured and continues to receive medical care.

Dispute Near Mata Park Led to Attack

Initial inquiries conducted by police suggest that the violence began after a confrontation near Mata Park in the Wazirpur locality. Investigators believe the victims were allegedly attacked by Sahil, also known by the aliases Natwala and Lala, along with several associates.

Officials said the suspects allegedly assaulted the two men following a heated argument that escalated into a physical attack.

CCTV Footage Helped Trace Suspects

During the investigation, police teams reviewed CCTV recordings from nearby streets and buildings to reconstruct the sequence of events. The footage helped investigators understand how the dispute unfolded and identify those involved in the assault.

At the same time, police deployed local informants and intelligence sources to track down the suspects believed to be responsible for the attack.

Four Accused Arrested Within an Hour

Law enforcement authorities conducted multiple raids in the surrounding area soon after the incident. Their rapid search operation led to the arrest of all four accused individuals within approximately one hour, police confirmed.

Officials said the swift arrests were made possible through coordinated field operations and information gathered during the early stage of the investigation.

Case Registered Under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita

Police have registered a criminal case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances that led to the confrontation and whether additional individuals were involved.

Authorities are continuing to collect evidence, question witnesses and review surveillance footage as part of the ongoing inquiry.
