As a result, the India Meteorological Department has predicted one or two periods of intense rain and thunderstorms in various areas of the city.

Similar weather conditions are expected to persist until December 18, according to the weather prediction. It is anticipated that the lowest temperature will decrease to 21 degrees Celsius and the highest temperature will remain at 30 degrees.

A convergence of easterly winds has rekindled rainfall activity across the area, according to the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), and these circumstances are predicted to last until December 18.

The most recent IMD advisory states that until December 18, mild to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning are predicted in various areas of the city. Residents should prepare for dry weather in the next days, as temperatures are predicted to dip by two to three degrees Celsius starting on Thursday.

Chennai-Nungambakkam: Temperatures typically range from 23 to 29 degrees Celsius, with an overcast sky and light rain.

Chennai-Meenambakkam: The temperature ranges from 22 to 28 degrees Celsius, with mostly overcast skies and light rain.

Chennai-Ennore: The sky is usually overcast, there is a little rain, and the temperature ranges from 23 to 29 degrees Celsius.

Chennai-Madhavaram: With a high temperature of 30 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 21 degrees Celsius, the IMD has issued a yellow signal for one or two periods of intense rain and thunderstorms.
