Accident – Child Killed, Two Injured in Delhi Hit-and-Run Case

Accident – A 10-year-old girl lost her life and two others were injured after a speeding vehicle allegedly struck them in the Sonia Vihar locality of northeast Delhi in the early hours of Wednesday, police officials said.

Incident Reported Shortly After Midnight

According to law enforcement authorities, a call regarding the crash was received around 12:50 am. A police team was immediately dispatched to the scene, where three injured individuals were found lying on the road. The victims were quickly shifted to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital for emergency treatment.

Doctors at the hospital declared the young girl dead upon arrival. The other two injured individuals are currently undergoing medical care and are reported to be in stable condition.

Driver Allegedly Fled the Scene

Preliminary findings suggest that the victims were hit by a vehicle whose driver fled immediately after the collision. Officials stated that investigators are working to establish the exact circumstances leading up to the crash, including the speed and direction of the vehicle at the time of impact.
