US: Vice President JD Vance said the US is holding meetings every other day to make sure Venezuela remains stable.
US : Vice President JD Vance said at the White House Press Briefing on Thursday (local time) that he is frequently chairing meetings to discuss the next steps and guarantee stability in Venezuela and a government that really “listens to the United States.”
In response to a question about his involvement in Venezuela, he said that he would continue to be heavily active as long as President Trump requests it.I chair the meeting every other day in an effort to keep Venezuela stable and, as the President has instructed, to make sure that the new Venezuelan administration really pays attention to the United States and acts in the best interests of our nation. I will thus participate to the extent that the President desires. That has been rather involved so far, and I will continue doing that as long as the President requests it,” he said during the news conference.
“I’ve heard a couple of things,” Vance said the reporters, dismissing the rumors that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was excluded from the activities in Venezuela. The first is that I was excluded from the planning of the Venezuela operation, which is untrue; the second is that Tulsi was excluded from the planning of the Venezuela operation, which is also untrue. We are all on the same team, and one of the most astounding things about that operation is that we kept it a secret for a very long time and kept it extremely close to high cabinet level officials and associated people in our government. I take great pride in it. It implies, in my opinion, that the group collaborates effectively.

His comments follow the United States’ “large-scale strike” on Caracas, Venezuela, on Saturday, which resulted in the arrest of President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.
In a coordinated effort by US law enforcement and intelligence services, Maduro and Flores were airlifted out of the nation. They are now on trial after being charged with “drug trafficking and narco-terrorism conspiracies” in the Southern District of New York.
Trump said that Washington would govern the nation “until such time as we can do a safe, proper, and judicious transition” after they were captured.
He said that “outlaw dictator Nicolas Maduro to justice” was the goal of the US effort.Until a safe, appropriate, and prudent transfer can be made, we will continue to govern the nation. We cannot afford for someone else to take over Venezuela without considering the interests of the Venezuelan people. We want peace, justice, and liberty for the wonderful people of Venezuela. We will not allow it to occur. Although we are currently there, we want to remain until a suitable transition occurs. He said, “We’re going to run it basically until such time.”
