Maduro and Flores : will appear in federal court to be charged with narco-terrorism
Maduro and Flores : ccording to CBS News, US officials confirmed that the case would be heard in the Southern District of New York on Sunday, and Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, are scheduled to appear before a federal court on Monday (local time).

Maduro and his spouse are expected to appear before a federal court on Monday at 12 p.m., according to the spokeswoman.
Following Washington’s “large-scale strike against Venezuela” on Saturday, which resulted in the arrest and flight of Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, out of the country, this will be their first court appearance.
In a coordinated effort including US law enforcement and intelligence services, Maduro and Flores were apprehended in Caracas and flown out of the nation.
Several hours after being abducted from their Caracas home, transported aboard the USS Iwo Jima battleship, and then flown to the United States to face criminal accusations, both arrived in New York on Saturday afternoon.

The United States has accused Maduro and members of his family and cabinet of plotting to import cocaine and participate in alleged narco-terrorism in an indictment filed in the Southern District of New York.
He also faces charges of owning and conspiring to possess machine guns and other dangerous weapons, according to the indictment that Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed.
