Authorities in Russia confirmed that emergency teams were working to contain a fire at the Ust-Luga port, a critical export hub located in the Leningrad region. Governor Alexander Drozdenko stated that no injuries had been recorded, though he did not clarify which specific section of the facility was affected.

Russia’s defence ministry disclosed that its air defence systems shot down 389 Ukrainian drones during the night and early morning hours. The interceptions were concentrated in border regions adjacent to Ukraine, as well as areas surrounding the capital, Moscow.

Ukrainian officials reported that nearly 1,000 drones were launched by Russia within a 24-hour period earlier this week, accompanied by one of the largest daytime offensives since the conflict began.
