The actress, who has finished filming the film adaption of “Mirzapur” in Rajasthan, informed IANS about her plans for the New Year: “I love surprises so I traveled to Jaisalmer to surprise the entire cast and crew of Mirzapur.”

The opportunity to see the city after many years was very precious, especially because my other family, the Mirzapur crew, was filming there for the movie. I had already been there once as a youngster with my parents. A meal on the dunes while the moon was above was one of the highlights.

The actress said that Jaisalmer’s natural surroundings are another reason why it has a very special place in her heart.

“Nature has always captivated me; I enjoy being near it, taking in it, and just being there.” The silence is invaluable. “Perfect year-end,” she continued.

Shweta said that she and her pals traveled to Phuket, Thailand, after spending some time in Jaisalmer.

“I brought in my New Year’s festivities a little early because I was going to start filming my next project in Bhopal the last week of the 25th, so I’ll be having a working New Year.”

“However, my husband Cheeta is joining me here and we will welcome the New Year at one of Bhopal’s beautiful heritage sites, as the 31st and the 1st are non-working days,” the actress said.

The unnamed movie, which is expected to be a dramatic drama, will be extensively filmed in Bhopal and other districts of Madhya Pradesh.

In the meanwhile, “Mirzapur” centers on Akhandanand “Kaleen” Tripathi, a businessman and criminal who is regarded as the de facto head of the Mirzapur district in the Purvanchal area of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Gaur, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda make up the primary characters of the first season.

With the exception of Vikrant and Shriya, the primary cast from the first season is retained for the second season. The new cast includes Lilliput, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Anangsha Biswas, and Neha Sargam.
