Sanjay Dutt: Shekhar Suman shares a “rare photo” with Amitabh Bachchan
Sanjay Dutt: On Monday, Shekhar Suman posted a unique old photo of Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt.
Shekhar posted a photo of the three celebrities standing together in casual clothing on Instagram, with Shekhar and Sanjay grinning on each side of Big B.
Shekhar captioned the image, saying, “A rare photo of Sanjay Dutt, Amit ji, and me.#throwback.”
Amitabh delivered the mahurat clap for the 1994 movie “Insaaf Apne Lahoo Se,” which seems to be the source of the image. Shatrughan Sinha, Farah Naaz, Sonam, and Gulshan Grover are also featured in the Bollywood action movie.
The narrative of Mahendra Pratap, who marries Geeta but requests her first son Devilal to leave the family, is told in the Latif Khan-directed movie. Later, as a result of her husband’s fabricated evidence, Geeta is jailed for murder and gives birth to another son in incarcerated.
Shekhar debuted in the 1984 film Utsav, costarring alongside seasoned actress Rekha. He costarred with Dimple Kapadia in the Pati Parmeshwar movie from 1990. He later starred in the 1986 film Manav Hatya with Madhuri Dixit.
The 2017 Omung Kumar-directed and co-produced movie “Bhoomi” also featured Shekhar and Sanjay. Aditi Rao Hydari and Sharad Kelkar are also featured in the movie. It told the tale of Bhoomi, who was about to be married until she was raped by Vishal and his cousin. However, she and her father decided to enforce the law on their own and went out to punish the offenders.
Shekhar last appeared in “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,” Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s first television series. The historical drama takes place during the Indian independence struggle in Lahore’s Heera Mandi red-light area.
