Rajinikanth: When turns 75, Dhanush wishes him a happy birthday

Rajinikanth: In honor of superstar Rajinikanth’s 75th birthday on Friday, Dhanush sent a heartfelt birthday message for his ex-father-in-law on social media.

The ‘Raanjhanaa’ actor posted “Happy birthday thalaiva,” a star-struck, smiling visage with sunglasses, folded hands, and red heart emojis on his X (formerly Twitter) page.

To refresh your mind, Dhanush was wed for over twenty years to Rajinikanth’s older daughter, Aishwarya Rajinikanth, until the two ultimately made the decision to divorce in 2022. Yatra and Linga, the couple’s two kids, are a blessing.

‘Tere Ishq Mein’ star Dhanush and Aishwarya are no longer together, but their social media contacts show that they are on excellent terms with Rajinikanth.

In a joint statement, Dhanush and Aishwarya announced their split, saying, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well wishers to each other.” Growth, comprehension, adaptation, and adjustment have all been part of the experience. We are now at a point when our routes diverge. In order to better understand each other as individuals, Aishwaryaa and I have made the decision to separate as a pair. Along with his admirers, Thalaiva received heartfelt birthday greetings from a number of people in the entertainment world as he turned 75.

As part of his birthday celebration, Rajinikanth’s classic 1999 movie “Padayappa” will also be re-released on Friday.

The celebrity recently said that Aishwarya Rai was his first choice to portray Neelambari in the film.

‘The Return of Padayappa’ had Rajinikanth stating, “I would always think about Aishwarya Rai whenever I thought of the Neelambari role. I believed that Aishwarya Rai was the right person for this position and needed to perform it. We pursued her dates for this part for about three months. We even attempted to contact her via her family. We would have even waited a year for her if she had told us that the part was wonderful but we had to wait.”
