Mrunal Thakur: According to “Dacoit” is her first multilingual film

Mrunal Thakur: who co-stars alongside Adivi Sesh and Anurag Kashyap in the forthcoming movie “Dacoit,” said that it’s the first time she’s filmed a movie in two languages.

Attending the film’s trailer launch, the actress spoke with the Marathi crowd and talked about her experience working with Shaneil Deo, co-star Adivi Sesh, and Anurag Kashyap. She also said that the movie allowed her to access a similar shade as “Love Sonia.”

“Khoop chhan vaat-ta mala,” she added, discussing the same topic. Dacoit is a very new movie, and it’s the first one I’ve filmed in Telugu and Hindi. The experience of working with Adivi Sesh was incredible. The enchantment that Hari has generated on screen is quite lovely to witness in this avatar. And it was such a pleasure to work with Anurag Sir. Even though I didn’t have many scenes, what I did was amazing. I think it was like going to school; you learn a lot.

“For me, I don’t think I’ve got an opportunity to tap into similar shades like Love Sonia,” she said, delving further into her experience working with Shaneil Deo. Working with our director, Shaneil Deo, was also a pleasure. He has a really good eyesight. Someone who always strives to perform and offer their best effort is, in my opinion, what an actor desires. Giving a flawless take makes you feel really happy and fulfilled.

Atul Kulkarni, who plays a police officer, and villains Anurag Kashyap and Prakash Raj are also seen in the film’s trailer, which debuted on Thursday and features the stars as thieves.

“Dacoit,” which was directed by Shaneil Deo, will be released on March 19, 2026.
