Jackie posted a monochromatic photo of Amrish Puri on his Instagram stories section. He included the song “Hum Na Samjhe The” by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam from the 1993 movie “Gardish” as the background soundtrack.

Jackie did not write much for the caption. “Amrish Puri ji (folded hands emoji) (22 June 1932-12 Jan 2005)” is all he wrote.

Amrish Puri became one of the most famous and renowned actors in Indian cinema after appearing in over 450 films. Although he was renowned for his flexibility as an actor, he gained more notoriety for playing villains.

Vidhaata, Shakti, Hero, Meri Jung, Nagina, Mr. India, Shahenshah, Ram Lakhan, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Pardes, Tridev, Ghayal, Saudagar, Thalapathi, Tahalka, Damini, Karan Arjun, Kaalapani, Jeet, Koyla, Baadshah, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Nayak: The Real Hero, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, and Hulchul are just a few of his works.

Many people consider Puri’s depiction of the well-known antagonist Mogambo in Shekhar Kapur’s Mr. India to be among the best villain performances in Indian film. Critics especially praised his comedic performance with Kamal Haasan in Chachi 420.

His role as Mola Ram in the Steven Spielberg and George Lucas blockbuster Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was his most well-known worldwide role.

After being hospitalized to the hospital in 2004, Amrish Puri had brain surgery to treat his unusual form of blood cancer, myelodysplastic syndrome. He eventually fell into a coma as a result of his illness, which necessitated regular evacuation of the blood that had collected in the cerebral area of the brain. In 2005, he passed away.

Rahul Singh, Parmita Katkar, Madhoo, Mukesh Tiwari, Rahul Puri, Rahul Dev, and Mithun Chakraborty starred in Amrish Puri’s last motion picture, Kachchi Sadak (2006).

The narrative centers on Randhir, a young guy who becomes entangled in the politically charged liquor industry. His girlfriend Julie and confidantes are his sole sources of comfort. Later on, he is requested to support a sincere social worker who is now a politician in the next elections, but fate has other ideas. Rahul Singh wrote the narrative, which is a mix of fact and fantasy.
