Hollywood director: Renowned Jewish filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife were discovered fatally stabbed in their Los Angeles home, a homicide is suspected

 Hollywood director : According to officials and many news agencies, Rob Reiner, a legendary Hollywood filmmaker and actor, and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were discovered dead on Sunday afternoon at their Brentwood, Los Angeles, home. Police are looking into the death as possibly a murder. According to law enforcement officials cited by NBC News, the pair was found with injuries consistent with stabbings.

A 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were discovered dead inside the home when the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived on a medical assistance call at around 3:30 pm local time. Rob and Michele Reiner were eventually identified as the victims.

Detectives from the Robbery-Homicide Division of the Los Angeles Police Department have already arrived at the site and are questioning family members as part of the investigation. Detectives are diligently collecting evidence, and Capt. Mike Bland stated that the deaths are being investigated as suspicious. At the time of publication, no official suspect had been identified or taken into custody.

The emergency call was made after family members said they found the couple inside the house. The news was terrible, according to neighbors, and municipal authorities lamented the loss of one of Hollywood’s most well-known personalities.

Rob Reiner is one of the most recognizable names in American entertainment because to his multi-decade career that included both acting and directing. Family and Personal Life

In 1989, Reiner wed Michele Singer. Nick, Jake, and Romy are the three children that Michele, a professional photographer, and Reiner had together. According to reports, the pair first connected while Reiner was filming one of his best-selling movies, When Harry Met Sally.

In his earlier years, from 1971 until 1981, Reiner was wed to Penny Marshall, an actress and director. 2018 saw the passing of Marshall, who was well-known for her own achievements as a filmmaker.
