Goa Nightclub Fire: The Luthra Brothers are being deported to India after being detained in Thailand
Goa Nightclub Fire: According to Hindustan Times, which cited persons acquainted with the situation, two suspects in the Goa nightclub disaster that claimed the lives of 25 people and caused them to fly to Thailand have now been placed under arrest. Both of the offenders are presently being deported to India.

Gaurav and Saurabh Luthra, co-owners of the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in North Goa, had their passports revoked by the Goa government’s appeal to the External Affairs Ministry (MEA). Shortly after the December 6 incident in Arpora, the Luthra brothers fled, and the CBI requested that an Interpol Blue Corner alert be issued.
According to the Goa Police’s investigation, the brothers booked a trip to Thailand while the rescue squad was on the scene and the fire department was putting out the fire. At 1:17 a.m. on December 7, Gaurav and Saurabh purchased their tickets on MakeMyTrip. They soared as firemen were fighting to contain the fire that was trapping a number of employees and patrons inside the Arpora nightclub Brich near Romeo Lane.
The Delhi Court had earlier on Wednesday refused to give the Luthra brothers temporary immunity from arrest. Their attorneys asserted that the Luthras were licensees, not the nightclub’s proprietors, and that they had not left the country but rather were traveling for work.
