 Cinema –  The makers of the upcoming Malayalam action drama Pallichattambi have shared a fresh update, introducing actor Eldho Mathew in a significant role, further heightening interest around the film’s release.

New Character Poster Unveiled

The production team recently revealed the first look of Eldho Mathew, confirming that he will portray a character named Rathnakaran. The announcement was made through the film’s official social media handles, where the poster quickly caught the attention of cinema enthusiasts. The makers also reiterated that the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in April 2026.

Earlier, the team had introduced another key character, Davi, played by Midhun Venugopal. With each reveal, the film’s ensemble appears increasingly diverse and layered.

The production spanned multiple locations, beginning in Thodupuzha and concluding with final patchwork shoots across different states. The team expressed satisfaction at reaching the final stage after months of effort.

Lead Pair and Supporting Cast

Tovino Thomas headlines the film, and reports suggest he will appear in a completely new avatar. The female lead is played by Kayadu Lohar, who gained recognition for her performance in a recent Tamil blockbuster.

The supporting cast includes several well-known names such as Vijayaraghavan, Sudheer Karamana, Baburaj, Vinod Kedamangalam, and Prashanth Alexander, among others. Their inclusion indicates a strong ensemble supporting the central narrative.

The screenplay has been written by S. Suresh Babu, with cinematography handled by Tijo Tomy. Music for the film is composed by Jakes Bejoy, whose previous work has earned considerable acclaim in the Malayalam film industry.

Editing responsibilities are managed by Sreejith Sarang, while production design is led by Dileep Nath. Costume design is handled by Manjusha Radhakrishnan, ensuring authenticity for the film’s mid-20th-century setting.
